Day 41 – juicer – nuff said!!!! (well almost. ;)

This went on sale at the grocery store today and I got it for “only twenny-nine, niney-nine.” In my favourite colour. YASSSS!!!!!

Carrot apple ginger all the way baby.

And yes that is clutter on my counter top and juice on the instruction booklet. I am klutsy even sober. But especially while holding a phone camera with my left hand and pouring with the other. YEEE-HAWWWWW!!!!!

(still in the pink cloud. or maybe a bit orangey now. ;))

Love, xoxoxo

me with the tree. and with the juicer that I’ve wanted for years but never-till-now justified. :))

p.s. not affiliated. :)) and once again sorry for the WordPress ads.

p.p.s. something weird is happening to me. I just posted an actual selfie on Instagram. #sobermidlife #startingtolikemyself?

    1. It was delish. Kids loved it too… now that I see this post again, woah that was a lot of exclamation marks in the title. 😳 Soon time to come back to earth… ;)) thanks for being there Wendy 🌷

  1. I just bought myself a new cell with a decent camera. Tried a selfie and OMG- I hope I don’t look that way- I’m not the most photogenic person but it was hideous! Are there selfie settings? 😦 No matter- I passed the torch years ago! πŸ™‚ 41 days!!! Great job ST!

    1. [There’s] no way you look that way… [the front camera at arm’s length distorts completely, well on my mug at least πŸ‘½…] I look horrid in the front camera too. I took it standing in front of a mirror so using the back camera [and effectively from the angle that another person would take it]. ;)) thank you Elizabeth! 😊 [This comment was edited for clarity. ;))]

      1. Oh, thank God! wow, that seems like a lot of work to get a selfie–but brilliant actually! I kept wondering how most look great in their “selfies”! ❀

          1. Yeah, the sad thing is we could all be putting that energy into changing the world. Imagine all the “selfie” energy going to “other” energy! We humans are not the brightest creatures! Love, love, love you ST!

            1. Ah! A hidden gem among the lost comments of my notifications! I LOVE YOU TOO E! πŸ˜†πŸ˜†πŸ˜† But I have to say, yes, I agree, but also, on the other hand, sometimes a little selfie time makes that possible. πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜‰ xoxoxoxo

    2. p.s. There is this hilarious WikiHow article I just found, at the top of search results for “how to take a flattering photo of yourself”:
The point most helpful to me, personally, being: “A picture is never flattering if there is a toilet in the background.[13]” πŸ˜†
I especially love the fact that that line has a footnote superscript attached to it. ;))

      This might be more helpful:

Okay I’m going off the selfie deep-end here.

      1. You are so freakin’ special ST! I haven’t laughed this hard in days! Thanks for the links! One more little story: I’m not sure if it was a commercial or where the heck I saw this, but these two guys were trying to do something (can’t remember what) when one of them suddenly stops and decides he wants a pic of himself doing whatever it was they were doing and asks his way-more-hip friend to take a selfie of him! His way-more-hip friend looks at him deadpan and says “Sure. Would you like me to make sure I get part of my arm to make it look like you took it?” πŸ™‚

  2. I too feel more able to look in the mirror 5 weeks in. I definitely think I look healthier and I hardly need foundation now as much less blotchy:)
Still ups and downs emotionally but hanging not in there. I’m glad you are too:)

    1. I wonder if there is something magic about the 5-ish weeks point? I feel like I’m getting back to my “spiritual awakening” mode as well, which quite frankly scares the crap out of me. ;)) Happy we are on this journey together in the blogosphere :))

      1. Me three! Don’t worry you two. I have a great guide for you.❀️And it’s always worth facing the fear. What you find is usually the boogie man. And when you do: pop-goes- the weasel! Being fearless is the only way to live. It’s a constant adventure. And worth every sacred minute. Stay strong!! πŸ’œ

        1. So true. It really is about facing the fear. Which means I really have to get back to private writing I think! And staying off social media so I can conentrate! Even though I love it sometimes, like right now, when I came here in the middle of private writing to distract myself because I didn’t want to face my fears, and this is the message I see! πŸ˜† Thank you, Elizabeth ❀️
